Glassilaun is a beach nestled in a bay between Tully Cross and Killary Harbour, along the Wild Atlantic Way, in Galway.
During the summer I visited Glassilaun Beach, leaving with a diverse range of captured images from the stunning coastal landscape; the surface of the rocks, the rock pools, the sand patterned by the withdrawal of the tides, two-dimensional visual memories of a tactile three-dimensional experience. I began to explore this environment through clay. This is my captured beach. In Loving Memory of Our Tom. |
